A Colorado native, Fred Werner attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and began his career in show business as a theatrical musical director. His mathematical mind found its second home in music composition for TV and film and he wrote the musical scores for many hit series. Werner's music has won numerous awards, including a Grammy. In the '80s his creative energy focused increasingly on the financial world, investment strategies and money management, which resulted in the creation of his own investment company. An early fascination with market analysis led to his active membership in the Foundation for the Study of Cycles and he continues to lecture on market cycles at financial conferences around the country. Werner also founded the New York City Investors FastTrack Users Group.

                                Julie Meyers Werner and her husband formed The Werner Financial Group in early 1997. She received her degree from Binghamton University in New York and built an extensive career as a computer analyst with special expertise in banking systems. Her proprietary software has become an integral tool in the WFG investing process.

The Werners reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
